Hello!
My name is Alfred, and I'm a 20 year old student at Glasgow University. I'm a keen traveller who is looking to find some peace and fulfilment away from the noise of the cities at home. Before exploring through India and Thailand with my girlfriend last year, I spent time alone doing the Camino de Santiago, which opened my mind to solo travelling. I'm studying Theology and Art History, but most of my joy comes from exploring and applying myself outside. I'd like to think I'm a practical and honest person, who prioritises kindness and human connection over conventional ideas of 'success'.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Practicality - as a passionate sculptor, I spent most of my school days in the art department, so I've learned to work with my hands and think both creatively and efficiently.
Outdoors - I grew up in a farmhouse in the English countryside, so I'm very used to being outdoors and looking after the wildlife. I've had many animals like horses, dogs and sheep that I've been comfortable with looking after. I spent my free time outdoors, walking and exploring.
Cooking - I love cooking and try and use organic and my family's homegrown produce where possible. My brother is a herbalist, so I've learned a lot from him too.
Sociable - I'm very comfortable with all people including children, keeping an open mind and learning from people from different backgrounds. One of the reasons I travel is to meet new faces and create connections.

I love playing games - I play a lot of chess, backgammon and scrabble. I love art - both the history of it and creating it myself, hence I am studying Art History. I love playing sport - football in particular, and I have a soft spot for Chelsea (!) . I've also worked in hospitality so I'm confident in those sort of skills.
