Description
Hi all! I'm an avid traveler who has been traveling on my own since I was 14. I have used workaway before and had an amazing time, and now that I am starting to get back into regular travel I have decided to give it another go. I just got done with two years of service in the Peace Corps as an English teacher in Costa Rica, and I plan on taking the next year to travel through South America (and hopefully Antarctica), workawaying as I go. I'm mostly just excited to go out into the world and see beautiful places while meeting wonderful people and experiencing new cultures.

I am a native English speaker and I can speak pretty good Spanish. I am very interested in languages and have two+ years experience teaching English to non-native speakers. I am also very excited about learning new languages, and I'm trying to pick up as many as I can.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I'm a decent cook and I know my way around a kitchen. I've also worked at a martial arts school for sixteen years teaching children, then spent two years teaching English in a technical high school in Costa Rica with the Peace Corps. I've also worked for four years in construction, and I definitely don't mind a little manual labor. Over the years my travels have taken me to many places around the globe, and I have picked up skills working on a sailboat, a Christmas tree farm, and as part of an archaeological dig (where I lived in the woods in a tent for five weeks). I love learning new things and I am up for just about any challenge.
