Hello! I'm Yaz! I've been traveling for the last two years and have experienced so many beautiful places and crossed paths with so many beautiful people thanks to this wonderful platform! I love being outside, hiking, farming, dancing, teaching and practicing yoga. I'm an artist with a focus in sustainability, I love to make interactive installations and collaborate with other artists. And paint murals wherever I go:) I also love getting my hands dirty and making delicious food.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have lots of experience with gardening and farming. I have spent the last few years working as a personal garden assistant as part of the crew of my college's Botanical Garden. Last summer I worked as the head of nature programming at an educational summer camp where I managed livestock, produce, and compost on the farm and headed several site projects such as building a new compost, redoing the chicken coop, creating a new hydroponic garden, restoring a pollinator garden, creating a Blueberry thicket, and planting new trees around the camp.
I also coordinated all farm activities for campers including managing chores and nature-centered educational content such as cooking meals from the garden, making soap and tinctures, and learning about environmental justice and sovereignty.

I am also an installation artist with a lot of experience in large-scale murals and interest in public art pieces. I've ran arts programming at local community kitchens and also worked as a photographer.

I spent the last 3 years living in a vegan co-op so I have lots of experience with cooking and baking vegan and vegetarian food in large quantities. I've worked in other kitchens and feel very confident in my cooking abilities. I also have experience with non-hierarchical decision making and creating intentional spaces to foster community.
