Description
Hi, I‘m Vivian and I‘m from Germany. I love travelling and have been on holiday in many countries. I just spent eleven months in New Zealand mainly doing workaway and I really enjoyed travelling on my own. I achieved just what I wanted: making new experiences, meeting new people, learning new things and overall getting out of my everyday routine. Now I view Workaway as one of the best ways to travel and I‘m sure I will use it more in the future.

I love animals (I begged my parents to get a dog until they agreed when I was eleven) and being outside. Taking my dog on long walks through the forest was my go-to escape during lockdown and I started hiking a lot in New Zealand. I am also an avid reader and I enjoy intellectual conversations about all kinds of topics.
I‘m a hard worker and I learn fast. I don‘t need many people around me to be happy, but when I‘m comfortable around someone I‘m very open and good fun.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I am very good with animals (I have a lot of experience with dogs and cats and have looked after many other animals too (chickens, sheep, goats, pigs, rabbits, horses…)) and for some reason even shy animals often like me. I have done a lot of garden work in New Zealand and have some experience teaching and looking after children. I also have some basic experience building and have painted a fair bit.
I love learning new skills and I always do my best.

I want to try new things and get out of my comfort zone. I love learning and have found that you can learn something new from every person you meet. Especially regarding Workaway sometimes accepting the most unusual positions is the most fun. So if you think we would be a good match, I would be very happy to hear from you.

Vivian stayed with us for three weeks. Vivian became part of the family fitting in really well, also was a great help with many various tasks that she completed during her stay. Was great that Vivian was able to get out and enjoy many walks in the local area during her stay despite the average weather.
