Hey there, André here -costume designer from cologne, germany and passionate traveler, always up for exploring new things and meeting new fellow global citizens.

I am freelancer so i often spend time traveling, whenever my schedule allows. Especially winter month December to February i love to go abroad and intensely spend time in one country to get to know people and local circumstances and to get a feeling to the every day life.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I love my job as a freelance costume designer. And that is because this field of work is so wide ranged and full of craftsmanship and challenges and a learning routine, which corresponds beautifully with my natural hunger for new fields of work, new ways to see and do things and materials and tools i haven't touched yet.

I am used to work with my bare hands on a daily basis, wether it's focusing on details or just shovelling away a pile of work. Craftsmanship excites and fascinates me. The cultural exchange in these fields is a global treasure.

I love nature and the outdoors. I grew up in a household with two big gardens and within a family who grew as much greens and vegetables on their fields as possible. So already in my young years i learned to worship this process.

Sustainability and re-use of resources ist important to me. I really love recycling materials and getting creative with upcycling products. Its one of the many things we all can easily extend of ourselves and others.

I am used to dive into new teams and social constellations on a regular basis and i am excited about meeting new people. Change of thoughts and methods is a big gift and i am grateful for new opportunities.

And to round up this mix of interests and expertise: i am a trained educator/kindergarten teacher; so a bunch of toddlers to is nothing that frightens me...
