Hello
My name is Tomas, and I’m from Prague. I’m a plumber by trade, and currently enjoying travelling around Europe by car, with most of my tools with me.
If your project needs plumbing attention, please get in touch.
Aside from plumbing, I enjoy maintaining cars, gardening and many other different elements of DIY. I’m interested to learn too, so if you’re working on something skilled, I am happy to learn alongside you.
About me:
I enjoying getting to know fellow travellers, and experiencing different cultures and cuisines. Workaway has been a really great experience for me the last couple of years (I joined in 2021) and many of the people that I stay with become good friends and I revisit when I can.
I like nature, for example going out for hikes, and exploring natural beauty spots like beaches and forest walks, so please feel free to recommend sites to visit when I stay with you.

I’m originally from the Czech Republic, but I have now lived in the UK for over 11 years, so my English is OK. When I was a young boy I used to speak German too, however as I never used it I’ve forgotten most except some words and phrases.I’ve done a few paid jobs in France so I am slowly picking up French too

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
When I’m in the UK, I work on building sites, fitting complete houses/ apartment blocks and commercial projects with all of the initial installation necessary. Typically the projects I work on have no running water when I arrive, and fully plumbed kitchen/bathroom/ other when I leave. If you know where your waste pipe goes, and where your fresh water will come from, we can work together!
I’m a very handy person, so I’m happy to look beyond plumbing if there are other jobs to do!

Idalina has a nice house in a village in hilly landscape around, where is nice to walk and see a beautiful views. I could taste some good vegan food during my stay and it was a nice to meet Sylvine, Tiago and Lindsey who live at the house too.

Ellen is lovely lady with great sense of humour, she cooks very tasty food and has a friendly dog and always some friends around and I felt very welcome and comfortable from the first time when I arrived.

Tomas is an ace plumber! - able to quickly diagnose any plumbing problem and skillfully solve it. He diligently worked to install the major waste pipe and water source plumbing necessary for the entire eco house on my property.
