Hi everyone, I’m Tiphaine, 29, and I live in the south of France.
I've travelled for a while abroad, in Japan and New-Zealand and I loved it, at the moment I make pizzas as a job but I'm taking a winter break to travel again in Guatemala until February 2024. I missed it so much !
I’m always looking to meet new people, share, express, laugh, learn, create, do new stuff & so on … I love art, painting and music, I also very much love nature and animals.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I took care of the outdoor spaces, gardening, weeding, digging trenches etc.… I like doing physical work outside and being in contact with nature and the land.

I did quite a bit of cleaning too ! In backpackers or guesthouses, making sure the rooms and common parts are cleaned and ready for the next guests, I don’t mind repeating the same tasks day after day and I’m used to it.

In my daily job here I take care of all the customer-service related things, taking in calls, reservations, payments etc.… and I’m used to deal with what this king of job requires.

I consider myself as a hardworking and detail oriented person, I am invested and always do my best to complete the job. I love and I’m used to welcoming guests, chatting with them and making them feel the most comfortable they can. I am organised and tidy, good with computers, I speak English, Spanish and a bit of Japanese.

My volunteering experiences :

-Twice in centers (buddhist & yoga centers) where I was around 15-20 volunteers and we had to do some cooking, cleaning and take care of bedrooms/bathrooms for guests ( near Le Mans & Poitiers / France)

-In a B&B run by a Dutch family with a 3 year old child (near Clermont Ferrand - France)

-Helping a 70year old man with the cooking,cleaning and gardening. ( near Poitiers France)

-Organic Farmstay doing mostly weeding and gardening with a Kiwi Family (Takaka- New Zealand)

-In a backpackers taking care of the common parts, rooms and garden (Takaka- New Zealand)

- 1 month and a half in a guesthouse doing cleaning, setting up the rooms, helping the guests (Matsuyama - Japan)

- 2 weeks with a family of 4 in rural Japan doing a lot of weeding, planting vegetables and taking care of children (north of Miyazaki -Japan)

-Organic farmstay taking care of the rice fields, doing weeding and watering linked with an alternative high school in the beautiful island of Yakushima (Japan)

- 2 weeks helping with the guestrooms in rural Japan (Tonami-shi)
