Description
Hi, my name is Thomas. I am 23 years old from Germany.

I am an open-minded and easy-going person and I enjoy working in a team. A relaxed and positive atmosphere is important to me, where people get along well and can also have fun together. I am honest, helpful, and I like when people treat each other with respect and directness.

I have an active lifestyle and spend a lot of time outdoors. Hiking, exploring new places, and sleeping outside in a tent or hammock are some of my favorite activities. I also like training with my own bodyweight to stay fit.

In general, I am more of a practical person and prefer doing things instead of talking or writing too much about them.

At the moment, I am especially interested in flexible travel experiences and meeting new people along the way to share experiences together. I am less focused on strict planning and more on staying open and seeing what happens.

My English is still not perfect, but I am actively trying to improve it. I am not afraid to communicate, even if I make mistakes, because I believe that this is the best way to learn.

I am able to do physical work and I actually enjoy it. I prefer working in a team rather than alone, because I think it is more fun and motivating to work together.

I like learning new things, especially when they are interesting to me, and I am always open to gaining new skills.

I also enjoy helping others, whether it is giving a hand with tasks or supporting someone with advice if they need it.

In my free time, I like playing games with other people, such as chess or other board and group games.

Thomas war bei uns auf unserem Biohof und hat bei den unterschiedlichsten Arbeiten tatkräftig mitgeholfen: Äste mit dem Häcksler schreddern, Unkraut jäten, Wege mit Hackschnitzeln ausbessern, bei der Heißrotte-Kompostierung helfen, große Baumstämme zersägen, auf den Anhänger laden und im Lager stapeln, Rasenmähen, Eisenstangen flexen, ein… read more Drahtgestell zum Aufbinden der Beeren bauen und eine Totholzhecke errichten.
Thomas war einfach ein Glücksfall für uns! Er hat extrem genau gearbeitet und alle Aufgaben perfekt ausgeführt. Er hat immer genau nachgefragt, damit alles bestens gelingt, hat die richtigen Fragen gestellt und alles stets makellos sauber hinterlassen. Er war absolut zuverlässig — ich konnte mich blind auf ihn verlassen. Dazu ist er sehr intelligent und hat immer wieder kluge Vorschläge gemacht, um Dinge optimal zu lösen. Er ist ein wunderbar ruhiger, gelassener und entspannter Mensch, mit dem die Zusammenarbeit eine echte Freude war. Außerdem ist er beeindruckend stark und hat bei schweren Arbeiten wie dem Holzstapeln mühelos für zwei gearbeitet. Durchweg herzlich, freundlich und respektvoll. Wir können Thomas jedem Host nur allerwärmstens empfehlen und würden ihn mit offenen Armen jederzeit wieder bei uns aufnehmen! Vielen Dank Thomas!

Thomas stayed with us on our organic farm and pitched in enthusiastically with a wide range of tasks: shredding branches with the woodchipper, weeding, restoring paths with wood chips, helping with our hot-rot compost, sawing large logs and loading them onto the trailer and stacking them in our storage area, mowing the lawn, cutting steel rods with the angle grinder, building a wire frame to train our berries, and constructing a deadwood hedge.
Thomas was an absolute gift to have around! He worked with incredible precision and carried out every single task perfectly. He always asked exactly what was needed so everything would turn out great, asked all the right questions, and left everything spotlessly clean. He was completely reliable — I could count on him without a second thought. He's also very intelligent and consistently came up with smart suggestions for solving things in the best possible way. He's a wonderfully calm, easy-going and relaxed person, which made working with him a true joy. On top of that, he's impressively strong and effortlessly did the work of two people on heavy tasks like stacking wood. Warm, friendly and respectful throughout. We can recommend Thomas to any host in the very highest terms and would welcome him back with open arms anytime! Thank you very much Thomas!
