Description

Hi, I am a 24-year-old Irishman who loves sports (MMA and Boxing has been my main sport). I have a basic understanding of most sports as I went to college for it!

I have experience in many different avenues in life. I was once a prison officer. A prep cook and dishwasher. Assistant football coach. I can go on.
Overall my vast experience shows I love to seek out new experiences and challenge myself when and where ever possible.

I love to travel. I like volunteering because it gives you the opportunity to really connect with the place, people and culture and gain new skills!
It shows you what a country is really like, rather than getting a tourist view.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a TEFL (teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification.
Sports qualifications. (BEtC level 3) 90-credit DIploma.
Can coach football and rugby. (also have a basic understanding of most international sports).
Part of my daily routine is cooking home-cooked vegetarian meals. I also grew up helping my mother with her Garden, so have a basic understanding of plants and gardening.

Competent on computers, keyboard efficient, printing, downloading and uploading apps/files and fixing regular issues.

I believe I can succeed in whatever I put my mind to.

My time with Elezabeth, Dave and the family was amazing. I spent the summer helping them with their smoothie business. A few early mornings and a few potential later afternoons. Great experience overall. I stayed a week. Did flooring, fed and watered chickens and turkeys. Picked potatoes and eggs. Watched a film. I worked only with David. I met Kristine right at the end, the night before leaving.

Christopher was at our place for just over 2 weeks. He was very polite and followed instructions well.He helped us with splitting and stacking firewood, it was a large amount and a lot of work! He also helped rototill our garden and add soil and compost. He is very strong and was able to do anything we asked him to.

I stayed for an amazing 2 weeks. I mostly did firewood with Joe. I helped Barbara in the Garden once or twice. All great work.

Their property is amazing. You can Hike for hours and days and still not see everything thats around. I boated and fished in their lake and spent a few hours (or minuites depending on weather) by the lake after work. … read more

Christopher stayed with me for 3 weeks. He worked consistently and was helpful. We worked on fencing, picked rocks in a field, dug a few fence posts, did landscaping. He drove the tractor to clear fields and helped at whatever was needed. We also took a load to the municipal landfill. I believe that he put in more than his 25 hours per week.

I spent 3 weeks out in summerland with Lance and another workawayer (Amir).
I enjoyed riding his tractor, driving to different destinations with Lance in his car. Experiencing the cows was also entertaining. I got to use a jackhammer for the first time.

I stayed with Amanda and Oliver for a week. There was never any pressure or crazy deadlines on work, as long as you get it done and you gave your 25 hours. She suggested a walk and was happy to point me in the right direction when I couldn't find it. It turned into a Hike rather than a walk but that's another story.
