Hey!:)
My name is Moira and I am half Norwegian and half Scottish. Ive been travelling since I was 18 (now 24) and I have found that my favourite thing in the whole wide world is the local experience of another country. Discovering something new within me, bringing a new perspective to someone else. Its funny how sometimes home can be found on the other side of the world.
In my earlier travels Ive been an au pair, waitress, bartender, cleaner, farm keeper and animal feeder. My hobbies include playing football, doing gymnastics, stretching, meditation, self care, I love practising self care together with others, hiking, camping, reading, singing and dancing. I also adore animals. They give me a sense of security and calmness and I love spending time with them.
Im into alternative medicine and enjoy cooking healthy foods and would love to learn about natural medicine using herbs.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am mainly looking for work on farms. Whether its maintenance, animal care or vegetables and fruits. I am open and would love to learn about everything that needs to be done on a farm.

I have experience on horse and cattle farms. First when I was 14 years old I took care of a horse and was very intrigued by all the work the farmer did so Id usually stick around and feed the cows, help with birthing sheep and watch the farmer milk the cows.
In 2019 I worked 3 months on a hobby horse farm in Aus (doing maintenance, feeding, weeding, clearing spaces etc.)

I am a fast learner, hands on and not afraid to get my hands dirty.

I also have alot of experience with children. Back home I worked in a day care at a gym and in an after school programme teaching football and helping with homework.

Then in my years of travel I have been an au pair twice, first time on a private island in NZ (so Im not afraid of remote places) and the second in Ireland during lockdown so I was homeschooling the kids for a while which I found alot of fun.

I am playful, happy and genuinely interested in children's development and would like to teach language too. I speak Norwegian and English fluently.

I can also help with cleaning jobs, I did some cleaning in resorts in NZ and when I have lived in peoples houses I have helped around the house both cleaning and painting. I did a big cleaning job in Aus where I cleaned a ceiling of spiders.

Other than that I have experience waitressing and working behind bars.
