Hello everyone!

My name is Iacopo and I'm 31 years old.
I come from Pavia, a tiny and really beautiful city near Milan, in Italy.
I’ve always been very curious and since a young age I had a deep desire to explore our world and connect with people from diverse cultures.
I consider myself to be open-minded, sociable, and always eager to embrace new experiences.

I have a background in sales and partnership. I studied Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the King’s College of London and worked for a few startups in Spain (Papernest) and Italy (Doctolib). In my life I’ve always worked since I wanted to learn as much as I could and help my family. I’ve been a gardener, a bricklayer, a mover, a painter and a bouncer.

Workaway has always fascinated me because it combines the chance to travel with the desire to contribute and make a difference in people's lives. I believe that sharing our skills and collaborating can create deep and meaningful connections.

During my stay, I would be excited to offer my skills and assist you with any project where an extra hand is needed. My main goal is to fully immerse myself in your culture and community, learn your language, and discover local traditions.
I hope to create a meaningful experience both for myself and for other members of the host.

I am a responsible, flexible person, always ready to adapt to new situations. I enjoy working as part of a team, and I believe that open communication is key to a positive experience for everyone involved.
I hope to be welcomed into a warm and welcoming environment, but at the same time, I'm willing to challenge myself and take on new adventures.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I can speak 3 languages (Italian, English, Spanish). I can teach Italian and English.
I have experience in gardening, painting and as a bricklayer. I'm able to taking care of animals, welcoming guest and cleaning at the hostel.
I can work on the creation of business models and sales strategies. I can set-up foundraising and markekting campaign.
I've always been active: I can teach boxing and running.
I'll be happy to do any kinds of works because I can always learn something new from that.
I like photography so I can take nice photo/video with my reflex/phone.
I like baking. With the right ingredients I can make an amazing pizza.
I'm really good in cooking italian food.
I can climb up to 6B/6C and do alpinism (high-altitude mountaineering 4000mt, crevasse crossing, couloir up to 60-65°), ice climbing and multipitch as the second of the team.
