Description

Hi we're a couple from the UK travelling around the east coast of Aus deciding where we would like to live!

We've been travelling for 5 months through Thailand, Vietnam, NZ and Aus and are both more than ready to do some work.We've started to feel a lack of purpose with our travels and both want to contribute to something positive while we settle into life in Australia and find jobs and a place to live.

We both have a passion for nature and an interest in sustainability and conservation.
I'm a Mechanical Engineer by trade with experience designing all sorts, from solar powered aircraft to nuclear fusion reactors. I'm practical and happy to help out on all sorts of project.
Libby is an experienced ED Nurse, having worked in central London Hospitals she's seen it all. She has a caring and easy going nature, willing and quick to learn new skills.
We both grew up in the countryside and are used to getting our hands dirty.

We designed and built a campervan together, developing a fairly comprehensive set of practical DIY skills (I've added some photos to our profile!). Other skills include:

Both :
- General cleaning, cooking, housework
- General garden work and horticulture , mowing, weeding, watering etc.
- Animal care, dogs/cats/chickens

Tom:
- Pretty practical and can have a go at repairing/building most things
- Plenty of design and workshop experience with anything mechanical related
- Decent woodworking experience, basic plumping and electrical
- Worked a few landscaping/gardening jobs in my youth, ride-on mower, strimmers, hedge cutting

Libby:
- Plenty of healthcare experience!
- Painting
- Child care

Âge
