Hello,
I am Stefano, 37yo italian guy from Bergamo. I quit my job in Feb 2024 to have a break and do new experiences. After one year it's almost time to look for a real job again and I would like to move to one of the nordic countries.

Interested in farmstay, campsite or similar host. For the reason above, it would be nice if I could reach the closer town in a 10km radius by bike; I might need connections with public transport to bigger cities in case I have to visit a Tax Office or things like that on days off.

About volunteering with workaway, I am fine with almost every kind of work as long as the treatment is fair; what I value more is to have a reasonable place to stay and cook. I don't need much but I have boundaries too!

2025
*From the beginning of the year I spent 10 weeks doing a workaway (garden maintenance) in Taormina area, Sicily.
*Spent April and May at home
*First two weeks of june I visited Copenhagen, Malmö, Lund, Helsingborg and Goteborg.
*From mid June, 8 weeks workaway in Västmanland, wooden house painting and windows renovation
*Two weeks visiting Västerås, Örebro, Lidköping and Trollhättan area.

2024
*In February I spent 6 weeks of holiday in Finnish Lapland.
*In April 5 weeks holiday in Andalusia
*In June I have done a 7 weeks long workaway in Ingå area working at a greenhouse renovation (glass replacement and painting)
*In August I spent 10 days cycling in the Turku Archipelago
*Form mid August I helped to move an Husky farm in Lapland. I didn't have a main role with dogs, I was more involved in taking apart, moving, building and repairing things; 10 weeks in total.
*In November 3 weeks of holiday in Kuusamo, Tampere and Tallinn
*Spent December at home

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am an electronic technician and have 17 years experience in servicing CNC machines; spent the last 8 travelling around the world for this job. Looking for an active kind of stay and possibly in the nature; I will be more than happy to help if I have anything new to learn. I have zero art skills and likely not good for child care.

Before I started working, I was used to help my grandpa in a small farm, my uncle with gardening or my dad with construction. This means I am not an expert but I can give help cause I am familiar with tools; I can probably still drive a tractor and I mucked out a stable before.

On work I am serious and reliable; I am good at manual work and have good logical ability. Can work hard and I have no problem getting my hands dirty. I learn quick, If you show me how you want a job done once, I will try to do it by myself from the next time.

About me, I am a very quiet guy, punctual, clean and tidy; I like to stay healty with sports and food (omnivorous). I don't smoke and don't use drugs but enjoy one beer or a glass of wine.
