Description

Hi everyone, we are Solveig and Julez from Freiburg, in the southwest of Germany, and we’re excited to use Workaway to discover new places and meet new people.

Starting in mid-October, we’ll be traveling together through Central and South America. We’ve both just completed our bachelor’s degrees and are about to embark on our first big journey outside of Europe – so we’re new to Workaway :)

Julez studied special education with a focus on working with people with disabilities. In his free time, he enjoys acting in theater, meditating, bouldering, and hiking.
Solveig studied environmental science. She loves swimming, doing yoga, hiking, and reading.
We both enjoy spending time in nature – whether it's working outdoors or exploring rivers, forests, and landscapes in our free time.

We have experience in childcare and -education, we are good (vegetarien) cookers, and we would like to learn new skills – especially in gardening and permaculture.

We’re looking forward to cultural exchange, open-minded encounters, new friendships, and enriching experiences with people from all around the world!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Julez has r worked with "Lebenshilfe" and similar organizations that support people with disabilities. He is currently working part-time at a kindergarten, gaining further experience in working with children.
Solveig has experience in environmental education for children, tutoring, and active nature conservation, including bird population surveys.

We both really enjoy cooking and have gained experience in a variety of part-time jobs – from working at the university (as a student assistant), to cleaning, working in a bar and in a theater.

We’re always excited to learn new skills, especially in gardening and permaculture, which we are particularly interested in.
