Description

Hi there! I am a retired special needs educator. I moved to Costa Rica to work at a private school in Playas del Coco in 2023, and officially retired in December 2024. I am blessed to be able to spend a great deal of time here in this beautiful country, and I am totally ready to explore! I do love working with children, as I have been doing that for pretty much my entire working life, however I would love now to help with animals - that is my love. I have always had dogs and cats in my life, I LOVE ANIMALS, and would love to housesit, animal sit, help on the farm, pretty much anything that has animals in it! I am ready to volunteer, and give back to this amazing country.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have been a special needs educator for my entire working career . I started in New York City, then moved to Florida, and then became a teacher here in Guanacaste, Costa Rica for a private school. After about a year and a half, I decided it was finally time to retire.

I am an organized person, and have very good communication skills. I am patient and kind. I have had pets my entire life, and currently have 2 cats living with me in Playas del Coco - one that I brought from Florida and another that I adopted here. I LOVE animals, and would love to housesit where I would take care of your fur babies, and assist in taking care of some household duties. I am also very open to learning new things for example, helping with farm animals, or I would LOVE to work with horses.
I get a cat sitter for my fur babies so I can have outside experiences.

I used to play classical piano, and I am learning now how to play the soprano recorder. I love getting together with my recorder group - what a fun way to spend some time!

I enjoy reading books on my kindle. I love taking walks along the beach. I enjoy getting fresh air. Going to the gym in the mornings has been amazing, and I love my functional workout classes. I feel like I am getting stronger every day!

I sometimes enjoy board games; however I don't play them much. I like Jenga, and Pictionary.

I love chilling at home getting cat snuggles when I can! Ready though to explore Costa Rica, meet new people, and have further awesome new life opportunities.
