Hello ! I am a 25 years old girl from Switzerland. I finished my master degree (in French and French as a foreign language) in May 2025 and since then I am travelling ; I travel overland (without flights) and I will try to go as far as I can this way. So far I have travelled from Switzerland to South East Asia (via central Asia).

I obviously love travelling, mostly because I really like discovering new things, new people and other ways to see life. I tend to travel on a adventurous way (low budget and off the beaten path), as it gives a more authentic experience (to me, it is what sometimes makes travelling and tourism different).

I also really like languages and literature : with French, I also studied English and German during my bachelor. I like sport as well, mostly mountain sports (skiing, trail running, hiking...) .

I am interested in volunteering because I am travelling long term and I also want to experience working abroad in a totally different cultural context. I would like in priority language teaching positions as it is the job I will have at home when I will come back: then, it would be an even better experience for me as it might be useful for my future working life. I have a little experience in teaching French, English and German to kids aged 8-17 and to young adults.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Next to my studies, I have diverse experience in teaching in different contexts:

French : to 8-17 years old children (summer camp) and to young adults (pre-university course)
English: to 10-16 years old children (summer camp and secondary school)
German: to 12-16 years old children (secondary school)

My native language is French and I am totally fluent in English, so I can teach A1-C1 level in both languages. I have good conversational skills in German and feel confortable teaching up to B1 level.

Even if language teaching is kind of my expertise, I am happy to learn/practice other skills such as teaching other subjects, manual work, cooking, etc :)
