  Hello,
My name is Sica, but you can call me Cha. I am an English teacher at a junior high school and the founder of an English course. I live with my husband, Roni, and our son, Asyraf, in Giyanti, Temanggung, Central Java, Indonesia.
  I have been shaping young minds and helping students master the English language for over ten years now. Each day, I conduct private lessons and group classes for students ranging from kindergarten to teenagers, alongside a dedicated team of teachers. We are a close-knit group of five paid local teachers who share a passion for education.
  I would be delighted to welcome any volunteers who are fluent in English and passionate about teaching. We are particularly looking for someone who loves children and feels comfortable engaging with them through play and learning.
  Outside of teaching, I have a deep love for meeting new people from around the world. I find joy in expanding our horizons through conversations—whether discussing literature or simply sharing stories. I believe that connecting with others on a personal level enriches both our lives.

  We live in a charming village nestled near a mountain, offering a peaceful and picturesque setting. As part of your experience with us, we would love for you to join our English classes and accompany the students in their language studies. Additionally, we fully embrace the local traditions, so anyone who comes here will enjoy an immersive experience in the village lifestyle, blended with a touch of international flavor. 😁
  We enjoy going out for traditional meals, karaoke nights, playdates with the students and our family, meeting up with friends, or simply taking a walk and rafting in the river. We invite you to be part of this vibrant community and all the activities that make life here special.

  Aide

  I offer a guest house for volunteers to stay during their time with us. Our volunteer program provides a unique experience where you can connect with local people, explore hidden gems and tourism object such as tea plantation,cofee plantation,temple,and so on. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact by helping students with basic English skills.
  In school activities, we focus on helping students practice their English and build their confidence. As a part of our community, you will not only enhance your own language skills but also inspire and motivate fellow learners.
  This is an incredible opportunity to grow in English alongside language partners. We kindly ask volunteers to contribute 4 hours a day, 5 days a week.

  Hébergement

  We have a big house, it is clean and comfortable. its located in Giyanti village, Temanggung Central JavaThere is also a guest house and garden behind my house. Workawayers will have their room under the same roof as us or they may choose to stay in the guest house and it is free. There is also plenty of outside space, a minimalist gazebo to chill, a music/relax room with wifi connecting in every room. we also rent motorbikes.
  here you will be able to experience the life in a traditional javanese village,you will also see and meet my friend who are excited to show you about our culture and accompany you to explore the local area.
  We will share the common areas, we respect the space of each other.
  
  I will provide you with a room and javanese food such as kupat tahu,fried tempeh,fried cassava,fried banana,puthu ayu,etc
