    Description

    This is not just any permaculture project.

    We are intentionally creating a safe community space. Primarily for the self, where we must all begin. Secondary, in relationship with all things, people, places and planet.

    In this space, we integrate;
    Permaculture (design and development of a permanent and sustainable agricultural system),
    Mindfulness (body and mind awareness)
    Metaphysics (philosophy of why things are the way they are)

    For the benefit of
    Supporting souls to recover from the disconnect they experience following *grief and **trauma.

    *Grief
    Is the experience of a loss of something familiar.
    E.g. bereavement of a person or pet or loss of a home or job.

    **Trauma
    Is simply what happens inside you as a result of what happens to you.
    E.g. Not the cause of the blow to the head, but the effect of the consequences of the blow to the head like concussion, memory loss, time off, physical change and psychological changes.

    In short, this project is about healing ourselves and our planet.

    We are open to long term stays but are not able to offer visas.

    I am a non denominational Reverend of Metaphysics, talking therapist and medicine woman. I offer and teach Permaculture, Humanure, Reiki and Energy medicine. You can find my free online course on Udemy, The Conscious Composter. I ask all volunteers to complete the course before they visit. I have mentored communities globally teaching both basic permaculture design and Composting.

    There will be animals here and they roam freely working the land so all visiting animals must be neutered and socialised so we can maintain the balance.

    There is a van park for campers on our lowest terrace. We also have a camping spaces for those wishing to camp on the top terrace. Tents and bedding can be provided.

    Because we are a Permaculture project there is no room for discrimination of any kind. It is a place for all people from all walks of life and belief systems to come together and live by the ethics, People care, Earth care and Fair share.
    People with disabilities are welcome, as are families and couples and those with animals. We are all unique individuals with something to give. Vegans and Meat eaters are equally welcome and we will prepare and cook accordingly.

    Every one is entitled to their opinions but no one has any right to force it on others and will be expected to work alongside each other for the greater good of mother earth.

    We are looking for people who wish to learn and share their skills to build a better place for all to share.
    Nothing should be a chore here. We both believe that happier people are way more productive. Anyone who stays must agree to take responsibility for themselves and their actions.

    We work in daylight hours. I sleep with the sun.

    Follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Youtube to find out more.

    If you wish to get closer to nature, lower your carbon footprint and learn to tread lighter on our planet then you may apply for a place. Applicants must provide references and meet on video interviews to see how we get along before you will be offered a place.

    *Community Co-commitments ;

    I agree that I have read and fully agree to live according to the following 7 Co-commitments;

    *I am dedicated to developing and being an active part of a stable and sustainable community. I will whenever I am able, take part in discussions and voting so that I can honestly and respectfully listen, share and contribute my experience, skill set and perspective for the highest good of all.

    *I will live by the permaculture principles of Earth care, People care and Fair share where I value and respect all living and non living things. This includes having a humanure community composting system, not using chemicals, practising the 5 R's, sharing the excess and supporting each others safety and growth.

    *I understand that for me to live my best life that it is important to prioritise myself and am fully committed to working on my health and wellbeing holistically (mind, body and spirit), which means I retain my full autonomy and am dedicated to living authentically in all aspects of my life. Including how I express myself honestly and interact with others.

    *I commit to taking full responsibility for all areas of my life and allow myself and others to make their own choices and take total responsibility for them. We are all human and have the right to get things wrong. I will also accept responsibility for my children, vulnerable adults, pets and guests who are in my care.

    *I believe in true equality for all. Regardless of age, gender, sexuality, religion, politics, disability, race and education treat all and work on accepting all as my equal. I will also work on letting go of my judgements of myself and others. Because we all have the right to have freedom of choice, where we can live safely and explore our own life choices or belief systems in our own space and time.

    *I understand while I stay and utilise the therapy space that prices for my services and workshops will be on an ethical based community sliding scale so accessible for all. When I offer a workshop, I take the full amount for my service unless it is a pre-agreed part as my role as a community member and part of my service to community. If I sell my goods in the community shop, then I will give 10 percent of the sales price back to community.

    *People must work 20 hours per week.
    There are many jobs to be done and we will give jobs depending on skills and experience.
    There is no job you can't say "No" to.
    We expect people to try their best and contribute in a positive way.
    People will be expected to wash pots when it's their turn.
