Description

My name is Salomé, I’m French, and I’m 28 years old.

I quit my job in France last August, where I worked to help people with disabilities reclaim their rights.

I have been travelling to Southeast Asia since October 2024, and ended this trip with three months in New Zealand (April–June) on a visitor visa. This first stay gave me the chance to do several HelpX/Workaway stays and really immerse myself in New Zealand culture.

Now I’m returning with a Working Holiday Visa so I can stay longer to visit and, most importantly, work.

I am now looking for a place to stay in New Zealand while I search for a job. I already own my van from my last stay in New Zealand.

I would be delighted to offer my help in any way I can. I possess an unwavering adaptability. I’m always eager to contribute, whether it’s with household tasks, gardening, or any other project you might need assistance with.

Above all, I love discovering new places, meeting people from different backgrounds, and learning from new experiences.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Regarding my skills, I don’t have specific experience in agriculture, such as working with cows or other farm animals.

Experienced in stable work and horse care, having spent a month and a half in New Zealand managing daily routines such as feeding, grooming, and monitoring horse health from morning till evening. Demonstrated strong responsibility, attention to detail, and stamina through hands-on work in a demanding farm environment.

I'm not to be afraid of getting my hands dirty, and to take care of them with attention and care.

When it comes to household chores, I am very meticulous. In fact, my mother used to call me “Mrs. Clean” – a playful nod to my love for a well-kept space.

As for gardening, I don’t have much experience, but I’m always motivated to learn. I’m confident that with guidance and some practice, I could quickly become effective in these areas.
