Description

Social and enthusiastic happy-go-lucky person with a creative streak and a love for plants and the outdoors. I am currently enrolled in a Master's programme in Social and Cultural Anthropology in Amsterdam and I have a teaching degree in the pocket. Although I am new to WorkAway, I have experience volunteering (primarily in the education sector). I am looking for opportunities to combine volunteering with doing research for my Master's thesis. I love learning new skills and meeting people, but I can also be on my own and work independently.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a certified primary school teacher (ages 4-12 in the Netherlands) and a social and cultural anthropologist with a special interest in history, heritage and sustainability.
I am fluent in Dutch (native) and English, and I'm happy to help people learn these languages.
I love photography, drawing, painting and making music (I play guitar), and I'm looking to improve these skills and learn some new ones. Recently, I have also been attempting to do some indoor gardening (unfortunately I don't have an outdoor area attached to my student apartment), and I'd love to develop my green fingers. I am hardworking, with an eye for detail and a positive mind-set.
