Hi, I’m Rolands from Latvia.

I’m a calm, practical, and responsible person. I like learning new things, meeting different people, and seeing how everyday life works in a new place. That’s one of the reasons I like the idea of Workaway — it’s more about real life than just travelling around.

My family has a country house, so I’m used to spending time in the countryside and nature. I’m familiar with different practical things that need to be done there, like helping around the house, organizing things, maintenance, and outdoor work. I’m not an expert in everything, but I’m not afraid to help, learn, and do things properly.

I also have experience with graphic design, print production, websites, e-commerce, marketing, content creation, product photos, videos, and general computer work. So I can help with both practical tasks and digital/computer-related things if needed.

I’m easy-going, independent, and respectful of other people’s space. I enjoy good conversations, humour, and learning about local culture. I can work on my own when needed, but I’m also happy to be part of a team or family environment.

I’m especially interested in opportunities where I can be useful, learn something new, improve my language skills, and maybe understand what it would be like to live and work in another country longer term.

Yes, I’m interested in learning languages. I would especially like to learn Norwegian, Danish, or Swedish. I don’t expect to become fluent immediately, but I would enjoy learning useful everyday words and phrases, hearing how the language is spoken naturally, and slowly improving through daily life and conversation. I can also help someone practice English in a simple, relaxed way if needed.

I’m used to spending time at a family country house, so I’m comfortable with countryside life, nature, outdoor work, helping around the house, organizing things, and general maintenance. I’m not a professional builder or farmer, but I’m practical, careful, and willing to learn how things should be done.

I also have experience with graphic design, print production, websites, e-commerce, marketing, content creation, product photos, videos, and general computer work. So I can help with both practical tasks and digital/computer-related things if needed.

I’m also good at working independently, following instructions, keeping things organized, and finishing tasks properly. I like to understand what needs to be done and then do it in a calm and responsible way.
