Hejj there, thank you for checking out my profile! :)
I asked my friends how they would describe me. I often got pleasant, attentive and friendly as a feedback which i really appreciated:))
I would like to add calm but also active.
I like doing all kinds of sport and practical work. Just being outside is something important to me. But also there has to be a balance, for me it’s is to have quit moments as well, reading a book or just have some time for myself.
But most of the time I enjoy being around others especially while traveling. Getting to now other cultures and especially food is what I would love to do my whole life. But what I enjoy most about traveling are the rare chances of getting to meet local people for a longer period of time. That’s what I love about Workaway so much.
I’am currently on a 5 months vacation. I started to life with a friend for one month on Tenerife. After that I have been for a month in Marokko and Thailand with my girlfriend. The last two months will be in Australia.
On the 28. Of April I will start a business English course in Melbourne that will go for three weeks. Till then it was originally planned that I will drive with two friend in a van along the coast line. Currently we are a little bit south of Sydney.
But it turns out that with three guys in one Toyota Land Cruiser it can be pretty narrow. And not just that, on my journey we have meet plenty of people all along, many people invited us to stay for some time longer and I would have loved to but there has never been the time. So now can I try to find somebody via Workaway which I would be so happy about !
I have the opportunity to get deeper connections with people living in Australia via Workaway. That’s what I’am seeking, getting to know peoples believes and thoughts. Understanding their ways of thinking and telling about mines.
I grew up on a little farm in northern Germany with my two siblings, parents and grandparents. We hosted a few Workawayers there as well which I really enjoyed!
So I have experience with Workaway but just as a host. I believe on a farm here, with a family or other workers I would get along very well. I have no problem with any kinds of tasks once they have been explained to me. I guess I see a lot of work and can work on my own but if it’s something new to me I’am a fast learner.
I know my application comes in very short which i guess is not so easy as many workers apply months a head. I’am still hoping to find a place which would take me :)
I’am with a car right now so my friends could drop me off wherever I need to be starting from today on.

My English is good and I get along with it really well. But I have high expectations on myself and would like to improve always. Of course I’am a native German speaker so if anyone is interested in learning German I’am sure I can help. Learning Spanish is a dream of mine which i follow some days more then others..

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have been to school till I was 19, living on a little farm north of Germany where I did everything what was needed. (Took care of the sheep’s , chicken’s and dogs, the garden, painting or repairing etc.) Then I spend two years in the military. I was assigned to a mountain unit in the alps of southern Germany where I felt in love with the mountains. We did a lot of hiking, climbing and learned how to survive and fight. I like being organized and clean what helped while in that time a lot! :) but It was more an adventur to me then a serious job for lifetime since I never want to interact in any kind of war.
After my time there I did a apprenticeship as a Mechatronic at a research institute called DESY in Hamburg. The institute takes care of particular accelerator’s and does all kinds of basic physics research. I learned a lot about Electrical engineering and metalworking used in industry there.
The one thing that stands out about me is that I’am really adaptable. I can get along with pretty much everything and everybody as long new tasks getting explained and people are kind.
I like to learn new things and will be happy to do so.
Of course I like doing practical work but I love food and cooking as well, I can take good care of a household or spend time with children since I grew up with two siblings and spend a lot of time with my 6 cousins.
We lived in a three generation household with my grandparents right next to us. I spend a lot of time with them as well. my grandmother is 91 years old and still with us on the farm. so I would guess I have experience with elderly companionship as well.
