Hey there!
I'm Reese, a non-binary traveler from Italy who loves exploring, meeting new people and discovering new places and cultures.

I love animals and nature, and my lifestyle can vouch for that! (I'm vegetarian, omw to go vegan).

I am a very spiritual person, connecting with people and the environment is very important to me, so I hope I'll find fertile ground for that in my future workaway experiences.

I'm a writer and also currently a University student. I love to learn and have deep meaningful conversations in a chill vibe, but I also am pretty hyperactive hence I love moving around and doing things like hiking, walking, going for a bike ride, etc.
My need for movement is counterbalanced by a need for peace and calmness, and I like to have social time but with occasional, well-needed energy recharging alone time.

I'm very hard-working and I don't mind hand-on/practical chores (especially if they are outdoor activities).

I have experience in teaching as I'm currently volounteering in a school in my hometown and I'm teaching beginner and intermediate English. I would love to improve my French and German skills, and once I'm confident enough with Icelandic, why not, maybe that too!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have experience with teaching (I am currently volounteering as an English teacher twice a week in a local evening school in my hometown, and this is my second year working there; I also privately help kids with homeworks and help them improve their English skills three times a week).

I also have experience in hospitality industry, I was a receptionist for a boutique hotel in Ireland for 3 months during an Erasmus+ project and I also helped taking care of housecleaning and sometimes as a waiter in the bar. I learned to take care of costumers, answer the phone and help them place orders for the bar's kitchen or book a stay at the place.

I almost forgot to mention I also worked for 6 months as a secretary/helper in a pediatrician's medical studio, and I had to quit because the doctor moved to another town and I started University!

About animals, I am very skilled with cats. I have been a cat owner my whole life, and my last kitty unfortunately died a couple years ago and I miss her very much, so I would love to eventually help around with cats (or animals in general!). I would really love to have experiences in an animal sanctuary/refuge, as I think all animals are equal to us and I would love to connect with them all.

I am a very creative artist too, and I can help with artistic projects.
Talking about art, I write a lot and have written a few books that are currently in my computer's drafts but I really wish to have them published one day; this said, I would love to write blogs or articles for your websites if it's ever needed!

I'm very interested in gardening and I have plenty of flourishing and healthy plants in my home.
I like all kinds of spiritual practices, I read tarot cards and runes and meditate a lot.
I like to cook and I think I could say I'm pretty good at it.
I am an avid reader too.
