Actuellement, je suis

Description

I am a quite uncomplicated person who loves to laugh, to spread good vibes and to learn new things.
In normal life I am a teacher for young people. In my free time I like to be in the nature, walking, biking, swimming and working in my garden. My two children are grown up and live in the north of Germany.
Since 10 years I take care of the refugees in our small town.

In August 2024 I started my sabbatical to see the world, to get to know new cultures and to listen to the life stories of all the wonderful people...

I worked at a farm with dromedars in Frunze, Kirgisistan, at a farm with buffalos in Chandrawati, Nepal and at a farm with cows and camels in Osian, India.
I volunteered four weeks in a school for disabled children in Kathmandu, Nepal.
I participated for three weeks at a workshop in the eatable forest of Clea Chandmal to learn a lot about permaculture in India.
I helped three weeks on an olive grove in Sicily to complete the protection of summer fires.

I hope to make the world a little bit better by helping, listening and working together.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I love to be in the nature. I want to learn more about gardening, permaculture, medicinal and culinary herbs....
I love to share my time with children and adults who keep their inner child alive.
I think that workaway is the best way to dive into another culture and to get an idea how it feels to live in a foreign country.
The idea of workaway is to trust, to help and to share and this makes the world a bit brighter.
