I'm 25 and originally from Manchester, England.
I'm looking to spend some time volunteering while immersed in nature somewhere in Europe.

I am passionate about travel, hiking, climbing, skating, cycling, playing the piano, learning and teaching languages, doing art, cooking and living in a grounded, wholesome way.

I have travelled in Europe, South America, North America and South East Asia and want to keep exploring!

I also speak English, Spanish and French and some very basic Norwegian and would love to participate in a language exchange.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a bachelor's degree in modern languages (French and Spanish), meaning I am able to speak three languages and translate between them.
I also have a 120-hour TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) qualification and have taught English at a high school in France and also online on a 1-to-1 basis. I am also able to teach Spanish and French.

I have held several hospitality and customer service positions at a hostel, a fast food restaurant, a supermarket and a charity shop, through which I have gained experience of preparing and serving food and drink, stock control, housekeeping, cleaning, processing sales and taking bookings and have developed organisational, leadership, communication and people skills. As such, I am confident in working directly with people and helping to create a welcoming and accommodating environment.

I have also volunteered with several nature conservation organisations, including the RSPB (on a wetland reserve in Motherwell, Scotland), Elephant Valley Project (Mondol Kirí, Cambodia), Merazonia wildlife rescue and rehabilitation centre (Pastaza, Ecuador) and Ecoaldeas and Kausay Punku - two permaculture projects in Peru. I have also recently spent three months in Manu National Park, Peru, studying and working with a conservation and research organisation - Crees Manu - surveying the biodiversity of the area and leading groups of volunteers.

Having travelled extensively and lived in four countries - the UK, France, Canada and Peru - I consider myself to be highly adaptable and capable of taking on new situations, as well as getting along with people from different parts of the world.
