Description

Hi, my name is Rachella and I am 22 years old. I have a gap year, which means I have the time to travel, meet new people, experience different cultures and new adventures. My favorite things to do are reading, writing, exploring, anything with music or art (creating of admiring) and having long talks about politics, religion, philosophy and general knowledge.

I am half Dutch and half Surinam, currently living in the Netherlands. From the ages 5 to 12 I had lived in Surinam, a country in South Amerika just above Brazil. I am bilingual, speaking 4 languages and in the process of learning some more.

In my free time I love to go on adventures with friends such as camping, going to the beach and taking long walks through nature. Other activities that I like include reading, painting, writing music and playing games. I am very big on quizzes and am very competitive when it comes to general knowledge quizzes.

In the last year I have lived and worked in Side, Türkiýe from Juli 2023 till November 2023. Some other travel I did in that time are to Warschau, Berlin, Paris and Düsseldorf. Before starting my job in March 2024 in Rhodes, I want to travel some more and learn a bit about living sustainable.

I hope to have the opportunity to meet new people all over the world and fulfill my dream of travelling.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a very hard worker and reliable person, open to learn any skill or languege. Working in the local drugstore for the past two years made me a very social and easy to talk / very open minded person. My family has over 30+ cousins, I have always been around childeren of all ages, many times babysitting some of them. Playing games and sports friday afternoon is our family tradition.

I can also cook different cuisines. Eating healty, balanced but delicious food is a big priority in my life. Cleaning is also a life skill I possess. Around the house or the garden, I don´t mind getting my hands and clothes dirty. In the garden I have some knowledge of cultivating vegetables and fruits.

Some other skills I have are riding bikes, rollerskating, canoeing, writing and dancing. I also have good planning and teaching skiils (math, physics, Dutch etc.). I also play many sports such as volleyball, ping pong or basketball.
