Hola! Ciao! Bunā! Cześć! Hei!
My name is Rachel and I'm from London, UK. I'm very keen and excited to begin a Workawayer adventure with you and wherever that maybe.

At present, I am travelling solo through South East Asia and and currently in Vietnam. I have been travelling for 3 months already and have visited Thailand, Laos and Cambodia. I would love to return to each country for a different adventure. I’m also likely to visit the Philippines and Indonesia, though currently my plans are flexible.

I have many years experience with the hospitality industry within restaurants and bars as a waitress, bartender and in management. I have worked in a French ski resort as a chalet host within a 5* ski chalet and hosted and cleaned to a very high standard. I also have experience as a health care assistant and cared for the elderly with dementia. Alongside this I have occasionally done some baby-sitting and dog-sitting.

Using my TEFL qualification, I have volunteered a total of 6 weeks in Poznan, Poland as an English tutor with Just Speak. I aim to return at least once a year.

I love to travel and study languages, and I have visited many places in Europe solo and have met so many incredible people and learnt so much along the way. I would love to be able to immerse myself more and for a longer period of time within a new culture and learn new skills. I am very sociable and hard-working and prefer to active and outdoors and keeping busy! I am very open-minded and free - spirited and always up for new experiences and meeting new people. Hence I have a lot of hobbies that include figure skating, salsa, sailing, kayaking, hiking, yoga, animals, photography and writing... (the list is endless).

I am open to a wide variety of opportunities, cultural exchange and work and am keen to be fluent in another language.
