I am a writer-artist, travelling in Iceland with my boyfriend John who is an engineer professionally as well as a guitarist. We are from Bristol UK.
In 2018 I lived in Iceland for 6 months, where I did two workaways, hiked in the highlands, and studied Icelandic folklore at Haskoli Islands. I am returning now for the forth time as I feel a deep connection with this place.
We are hoping to explore and share cultures and experiences.
My passions are literature, wilderness, art, creative methods of exploration. I want to connect with people, animals, and nature, and make a difference. I am interested in conscious living of the body and mind.
Hiking and exploring is a true passion for me. I love spending time in wild landscapes and visiting places that are truly alive.Centres d’intérêt

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have volunteered and worked at many festivals and permaculture community projects in Iceland, Greece, and UK. My partner has done a 2 month backpacking trip in Indonesia including a 3 week workaway, and has also done a 6 week internship in New Delhi.
I am interested in projects that are focused around sustainability, community, art, nature, meditation, and more.
I love beautiful nature and living humble. I am a hard worker, and happy to help with physical duties. I thrive when working on creative projects, and cooking good vegetarian food.
My boyfriend, who is travelling with me, has recently been working as a manufacturing engineer running an electronics workshop and has also done some electrical repairs and woodwork (although not a qualified electrician/carpenter). He also plays guitar and is always keen to jam.
I have studied literature and art making for many years. I am a published writer, and have degrees in Literature, Buddhist Art, and Fine Art, as well as a semester abroad in Icelandic Folklore at Haskoli Islands. I love to experience wild and rugged natural landscapes and translate my experiences into stories and poetry, and art. I like working with natural materials to create artworks, for example working with clay or rocks to make land art. A project I very much enjoyed in the past was in south of Iceland, making shrines out of lava rocks and things I could find as part of a sustainability and folklore festival.
We love to get our hands dirty and work for projects that we are passionate about.Âge
