  • Description

    Hello, How are you?

My name is Pedro, I'm 21 and I'm from Brazil!! :)

I love the ideia the idea of creating meaningful connections with people, places, and different ways of living. I’ve always believed that some of the best things in life come through shared experiences, even the simple ones: cooking together, solving a problem as a team, or learning how someone sees the world!!

I come from a background where resilience and creativity were essential. That shaped the way I approach life: with curiosity, adaptability, and gratitude!! Joining student organizations, leading a company and social initiatives, and writing about finance and economics in Brazil have been ways I’ve turned that energy into something positive. But volunteering gives me something unique: it allows me to give while learning, serve while growing, and connect without borders.

I believe happiness isn't just a feeling, it’s also a choice to show up, be kind, and stay open. That’s the mindset I bring with me everywhere I go!!!

Plus de détails sur les langues qui m'intéressent
I really like learning languages and believe they are one of the most powerful tools for connecting with people and cultures. I’m fluent in Portuguese (my native language) and speak English at an advanced level (TOEFL IBT C1). I’ve also started learning German (currently at A1 level) and a bit of Italian, and I’m very open to improving it or exploring new languages through daily conversations. I’d be more than happy to help others practice Portuguese or English, especially with casual conversation, grammar, pronunciation, or even cultural expressions. I believe language exchange is not just about words: it’s about empathy, laughter, and learning how others see the world!

  • Quelles sont vos compétences ?

A little about my skills... :)

I’m a hands-on person who enjoys both planning and doing. My background is in Finance and Business (I’m currently studying at the University of São Paulo – USP), but what truly shaped me were real-world experiences where I had to lead, organize, and make things happen from scratch while connecting with people!

One of my proudest accomplishments was creating and organizing "iWeek" ( on of the largest internationalization event in Brazil entirely led by undergraduate students in 2024). I was responsible for the concept, partnerships, finances, and overall execution, leading and supervising the teams in charge of coordinating speakers, guest relations, logistics, and promotional content.

That project taught me how to lead with purpose, adapt under pressure, and stay organized even in complex, fast-paced environments. (Yes, even today the idea seems insane, but we did it! USP, my university, truly gives us amazing opportunities to test our limits and see how working together can create incredible things!)

I also founded a social-impact company in Brazil called Sabiá Financeiro (feel free to follow us on Instagram or LinkedIn!), which empowers a broad audience through lectures, workshops, and digital content focused on financial education. Leading this initiative has strengthened my ability to motivate and coordinate teams, manage long-term goals, and turn ideas into tangible value for the community. (Our website: https://sabiafinanceiro.com)

Well, I’m also passionate about education. At university, I’ve participated in several teaching-focused projects - including one where we designed and delivered playful, engaging lessons for children using games and storytelling to make learning joyful and inclusive, and another focused on supporting women in vulnerable situations as they rebuilt their lives. These experiences reinforced my belief that education should be accessible, creative, and truly empowering for everyone.

Currently, I also serve as the Financial Director of a student-run internationalization organization (iTeam) at the University of São Paulo, where I manage budgets, lead strategic planning, and handle negotiations. This role has given me valuable experience in managing both personal and organizational finances - though of course, I know there’s still so much to learn!

In addition, as a member of iTeam (our student-led Internationalization Team), I help support international students who come to study at USP, assisting them in adapting, connecting with others, and feeling truly welcome during their stay in Brazil.

I also had the opportunity to connect with global figures at Brazilian Embassies, such as the First Secretary of the Embassy in Washington, D.C., and the Minister at the Embassy in Beijing. These experiences taught me how to build and nurture international relationships (all without leaving home)!!

Beyond that, I enjoy cooking - I’m not the best, but I can definitely make some good stuff (haha). Both of my parents are professional chefs, so I’ve always loved learning from them and experimenting in the kitchen. I also enjoy supporting people with daily tasks, exploring art, and helping create environments where things flow smoothly and respectfully.

I’m highly motivated in environments where collaboration, responsibility, and creativity are appreciated. I show up ready to work, learn, and contribute with energy and purpose.

    Thank you for Reading!! :)

  • Autres infos...

When I’m not working or studying, you’ll usually find me enjoying music, watching documentaries, reading about history or economics, trying new recipes in the kitchen or planning a party. I’m curious by nature and love learning - especially through meaningful conversations and experiences!!

I also enjoy playing board games, and I’m always up for a good strategy challenge or a fun group activity. I value calm, respectful environments but also love laughing and exchanging stories with people from different walks of life.

Whether it’s helping with a task, sharing a meal, or just listening, I enjoy being part of a shared rhythm where everyone contributes in their own way.

Hope see you, who is reading, soon and have great moments!
