Description
Hello! :) My name is Pamela, and I am from Chile. My native language is Spanish, and I am currently learning English (elementary level). I arrived in Canada in November 2023 on a working holiday visa for one year.

I have experience working in Canada in housekeeping, seasonally, in remote areas, and participating in outdoor sports. Currently, I am waiting for a work visa extension and living in Calgary.

I am available to start a Workaway exchange in March 2025.

My Workaway experience in Canada mainly includes outdoor cleaning in preparation for the summer or winter, as well as deep cleaning indoors and performing various household chores.

* I have volunteer experience in the Vipassana Dhamma meditation service in Chile and Hong Kong.
* Workaway experience: In Taiwan in 2019 (1 month total): cleaning in a hostel, cleaning and gardening at a Buddhist monastery, and assisting on an organic farm.
* My work experience in Chile includes: customer service, technical roles, restaurant and hotel services, automotive insurance, and boat and catamaran crew positions.
* My work experience in Canada includes seasonal work in remote areas as a housekeeper in Courtenay, Jasper, and Revelstoke.

The atmosphere of the hostel is pleasant, organized every day relaxing music.
Cleaning tasks were usually performed with another workawayer or staff.
Very good food nearby and very funny and interactive language exchange class.
Enjoyed my timed with friendly people in the staff and guests. :)
