Description

I’m an Australian farmer with study in Agriculture and Agribusiness and extensive hands‑on experience on my family’s mixed farm: sheep, cattle, free‑range eggs and cropping. Daily farm life has made me highly adaptable, I routinely diagnose and repair machinery and infrastructure and have basic timber and steel construction skills.

I enjoy horticulture and have vegetable‑garden experience from previous Workaway placements. I bring a strong work ethic, practical problem‑solving and a collaborative attitude: reliable, punctual and ready to help with routine tasks or one‑off projects.

Sustainability and ethical farming guide my approach. I use practices that support soil health and biodiversity and care deeply about protecting ecosystems. I’m eager to learn EU‑aligned sustainability practices and to contribute to on‑farm conservation projects.

I’m keen to experience agriculture and culture across Europe. I want to learn regional crop and livestock systems, seasonal workflows and certification processes, and to share Australian techniques like rotational grazing, pasture management and practical maintenance skills. I’m especially interested in seasonal workflows, certification systems and conservation initiatives so I can broaden my knowledge.

Culturally I’m excited to try local foods, learn languages, join community events and understand how rural communities work together. I’m one‑eighth German, mostly Australian with a tasteful German accent tucked away in the family tree. I’ll bring the enthusiasm and you can teach me the correct pronunciations.
