Dear Host Family,
We are international married couple who is currently workawaying in Canada and have an open work permit till the end of 2028.
My name is Olga and originally İ am from Ukraine. My husband Murat was born in Turkey and for last 12 years before we came to Canada he used to work in area of hospitality in Food and Beverage in Rixos Premium Hotel in Antalya.
As a married couple we came in Teslin, YT in the beginning of March 2024 and immediately started our workaway project in grocery store and motel where I used to run the till, check in/out guests and my husband because of his limited English stock the shelves and help with housekeeping. We both had 40 hours paid job and our employer provided free accommodation as well.
After 3 months in Teslin we got 1 month break for Williams Lake and worked there as waiter/waitress and housekeeping in a cafe and family run resort.
After 1 month in Williams Lake we returned to Teslin, Yukon and worked in grocery store till end of April 2025.
Since April we have been working in Bistro in Carcross, Yukon. My husband work as a cook in BOH and me as a waitress in FOH. We are planning to stay here till end of September 2025.
Right now we are searching for a new opportunity and workaway project in Australia/ New Zealand start from September 2025 where we can have free accommodation and food allowance for exchange of helping hands in any area/job where we can gain new skills and implement our experience which we already gained from previous workaway projects and hosts.
We are both very friendly, easy going, flexibility, responsible and hardworking people we like to be productive, independent and useful in any tasks which need to be done. We prefer some quiet and not busy place near the ocean so we can go for a swim in our free time and we would love and very much appreciate if the host has some old car that we can use at least once a week:)
İt's going to be our first trip to Australia and New Zealand as well. So we are planning to explore as much as possible and we would love if it will be minimum 2 weeks stay in each place.

My mother language is Ukrainian. I speak English quite fluently. My boyfriend is Turkish that's why i keep learning Turkish as well. Plus i can speak and understand Danish on daily basis too.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

For the last 3 years i used to work as an English teacher in kindergarten in Thailand. I used to work as au pair in Denmark and Norway and being around the kids is what makes me happy.

I love sports. I play tennis and swim a lot. I go for jogging and if your family is active in sparts I would be just happy to join you🙂
If you live on a farm or have a summer house I can help with gardening or animals.

I am expirienced Front Office Agent and used to work in the area of hospitality too. I know what is the daily routine for hotel run business and if you have some home running hotel I can help with cleaning, cooking or maintaining the area around.

I hope my future host family will be living near the beach or nature so I can go for swimming or walking from time to time🙂
