Description
Location is south end of Gold Coast near NSW border. Property is adjacent to currumbin creek in quiet street. Estuary and great surf beaches can be reached by foot or bicycle . Or by kayaking down the creek. Kayaks and bicycles are available. There is plenty of parking in the street.
I am a fit older busy female .
The accommodation is a large Bali style room downstairs with outdoor bathroom. There is also an inside bathroom and laundry.
Main chores are house and garden cleaning and maintenance. Anyone with basic building or similar skills is very welcome . I need self directed motivated people who like to "keep house" - there is an extensive garden, couple of chooks and 1 or 2 dogs
Generally around 15 hours work/week each for accommodation in a fabulous location. Happy to share food when I'm home - and staples always available. Timing of work is very flexible - so need people with initiative who don't need supervision.

I am an older lady who likes her space . The best surfing beaches are just minutes away with many surf schools also nearby, they run lessons everyday . I occasionally have a car when I'm working in the area but don't own one - I have bikes and find this a much more efficient way to get round this part of the world. I am next to a river that goes down to the beach - at high tide you can put the kayaks in about 5 metres from where they are housed - its about 15 minute kayak to the beach.
Aide
I mainly need housekeeping and gardening. I have an extensive garden and small vegetable section so weeding watering raking and digging are main chores with occasional projects. Upstairs is just maintaining a clean tidy house - sweeping washing etc
I am vegetarian and being older don't need too many calories - so meals I prepare are generally very simple with a lot of vegetables. The dog eats meat from the butcher section of the supermarket, mince beef and kangaroo, legs of lamb, chicken legs etc and is happy to share

There is a desk in the 1st room . There is a television in the yoga room downstairs - that you are free to take into the bedroom if you wish.

Mature responsible clean and tidy
They looked after my house and animals while i was mostly away. When i was home they were very respectful of my space and a pleasure to have around
I recommend them and hope to have them back next year
First of all we were impressed how beautiful and tranquil the house and garden are. When we arrived Sarah greeted us with fresh prepared lunch and our room was cosy and cleaned.
