Hi!

I'm Olatz from Spain.

I would describe myself as someone who loves trying new things and experiences. I enjoy adventure, meeting people from different cultures, and making meaningful connections. Traveling is one of my biggest passions, but I also appreciate spending time at home with my family and friends. I love sports, especially hiking, and I also enjoy a peaceful afternoon at the beach.

This year, I have decided to come to British Columbia to grow both personally and professionally, improve my English, and share my experiences with people from different backgrounds. I'm always open to learning new skills and embracing new challenges. I'm excited to be part of a Workaway experience and to contribute while learning from others!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

For the last eight years, I have worked in the field of accounting and finance in Spain, an area that requires responsibility, organization, and attention to detail. These skills have been very useful in my transition to working as a house cleaner in Vancouver. During this year, I have worked as a house cleaner and as a team car driver for the cleaning crew in Vancouver. This experience has allowed me to develop new skills and acquire knowledge that I apply in my daily life.

On the other hand, my family has always had a farmhouse, and I’ve been able to enjoy it since I was a child. We have many animals (dogs, cats, donkeys, horses, sheep...) and we are also fortunate to have a vegetable garden and fruit trees.

I also enjoy eating healthy, and day by day I’m improving my cooking techniques.

As for languages, I speak Basque, Spanish (native level), and English (upper intermediate, which I’m improving daily).
