Description
We are a Swedish-Mexican couple initiating a new post-children era in life. Which is relative, because sometimes Mattias´ sons (13 and 16) join us on our adventure. Lupita is a professional chiropractor, massage and zone therapist and is very fund of her job, which she carries with her wherever she goes. Mattias is a crossword writer (in Swedish though...), an astrologer and card reader. He loves physically hard work like wood splitting and dung shoveling, but is open for all kinds of work. Not a too bad cook. Lupita, as for work, is open to what ever life brings, but of course taking care of people is a favorite for her.

What a Fabulous three weeks I had with Mateas and Bijorn. It was like having a brother and a nephew here helping out. They both worked Hard at the tasks they were given, such as log splitting/stacking firewood, moving and spreading gravel, and stucco work. Arya is a great person, almost too invested in the people around her, to a degree where she sometimes exhaust herself. Mattias and Emil were amazing helpers. We hosted them for 3 months and it was a great experience. They helped with so many projects - cutting & stacking a year's worth of firewood, painting our barns and repairing the perimeter fence to name just a few. We very much enjoyed meeting them. I spent two wonderful weeks at Lauras little farm in the hay harvest - and also lobster! :-) - time in August 2019. Just have a look at the map - Matinicus doesn´t only look exotic, I tend to believe what the locals say that it´s a magical island, choosing it´s own people... Very capable of, and willing to be, working independently on projects involving manual labor. Very interesting person for conversations about Shamanism and spirituality. Mattias would definitely be welcomed back if he were traveling in our area again.
