Description
I am a recently retired family man with a passion for travel and learning about other cultures and lifestyles.
I am a keen cyclist and recently (2019) spent three months cycling from Chiang Rai (Thailand) to Saigon, spending a month in Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam.
I am physically fit and have a keen interest in teaching English. I have taught English previously (in Brazil) and have completed a TEFL course. I taught English on a 'workaway' in Cambodia in November-December 2019. I taught at two schools with the 'Workaway scheme' and also taught at a Buddhist pagoda, teaching 28 monks every morning.
I was also a qualified football coach and have coached players aged from 8-16 years.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have excellent English language skills. I am physically fit and have an active lifestyle. I have basic computer skills (internet, emails etc).
I am happy to undertake any reasonable tasks required and I can work by myself or within a team environment.
I like working with animals. I have also completed some voluntary work (not Workaway) on a marine reserve in Guatemala, where I looked after turtle hatchlings (on my own) on the Pacific coast for a month.
I have been described as confident, friendly and outgoing, and I try to be all of those things! I am reliable. If I say I am going to do something, then I will.

Of course I enjoy travel experiences of all sorts! I enjoy learning about other cultures and traditions of other countries.
I enjoy sport, both playing and watching. I will try any new sports!
I enjoy playing 'Scrabble' (a great game for improving English knowledge) and other board games.
I enjoy cooking, but I am not a chef!
