Hi there,
My name is Mardi, and I am a 23-year-old psychology student from Australia. I hand in my thesis in June 2026 and have decided to solo travel for a few months before undertaking any further studies or jobs back home. I am adventurous, caring, hardworking and love meeting and connecting with new people. I would be so grateful for the opportunity to stay and work with a host family or friends and share language, stories, skills and experiences. I am easy going and enjoy the little things.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’m a warm, reliable and easygoing person with a background in hospitality, customer service, teaching and volunteering. I’ve worked in cafés, restaurants, events, front desks and schools, so I’m comfortable in busy environments, enjoy helping people feel welcome, and always pitch in where needed.

I’m great with people (including kids), organised, calm under pressure and happy working as part of a team or on my own. I also enjoy creative tasks like writing, photography and social media, and I’m confident using tech if hosts need help online.

I’m open to learning new skills and love experiences that involve nature, animals, family life and community. I’m just as happy helping in a kitchen, tidying rooms, supporting with guests, or learning about gardening and animal care.

I’m studying psychology so I’m naturally empathetic, a good listener and respectful of shared spaces. I travel with curiosity, good energy and a strong work ethic — and I’d love to stay somewhere I can contribute meaningfully while meeting great people and learning how others live.
