I spent a year travelling around the world, during which I was lucky enough to have many special experiences, learn from people from different backgrounds and build meaningful connections in different countries.

For me, Workaway is a wonderful opportunity to give something back through hands-on work while also learning more about the local culture and everyday life. I genuinely enjoy being active and helping wherever I can – whether that means working in the garden, taking care of animals, helping around the house, or supporting a personal project.

Even though I can now only travel for shorter periods of time, I always want to include a Workaway experience in my travels. I find this kind of experience so much more meaningful and fulfilling than simply travelling as a tourist. It gives me the chance to become part of everyday life, connect with people on a deeper level and experience a place in a much more authentic way.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’m a trained social worker and have several years of experience working with children and teenagers in various social and educational settings. I love animals and, whenever time allows, I volunteer at a nearby animal shelter in my hometown.

In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors — hiking, exploring nature, or helping friends and family with home renovations or gardening. I’m always happy to lend a hand wherever it’s needed.

I’m open-minded, quick to learn, and enjoy taking on new challenges. I value hands-on experiences and love connecting with people from different backgrounds.

During my year of traveling, I gained Workaway experience in Canada and am now looking forward to making more memories and supporting others!
