Hi!
I’m Makensie. A 21 year old Kiwi who is currently living in Australia. I just got back from a trip around Europe and I’m ready to see more of the world! I lived in New Zealand for most of my childhood until I moved to America for college soccer, I then went on to live in Australia with my family. As I grew up with a big loving family I am very social and love meeting new people. I’ve been around kids a lot with babysitting, family and teaching soccer. I can’t wait to immerse myself in another world and appreciate the beauty of their culture.

I have spoken English all my life and not only would I love to be able to teach it, I would love to learn a new language. As much as I learn many languages at a basic level in school, I never got as far as I would like to with them. I think learning a language is the best way to completely immerse yourself in a new culture, and it’s an opportunity I would love to take.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’ve been lucky enough to already have so many amazing experiences for my age. I’ve worked in a few different areas where I have looked after young ones and got the opportunity to teach them my favourite sport! (Babysitting and coaching soccer) Within my work experience in Australia I worked as a travel agent where I was able to work closely with people and build personal connections, at the same time I got to be inspired by learning about the rest of the world. I also got to work as a makeup artist which was super creative and allowed me to have so much fun! I love to take on challenges, especially putting myself in new environments where I get to learn a new way of life. Both my Dad and Sister are primary school teachers and as a family we love to work with people and kids. I personally love to learn and am very interested in also picking up a new language. I would count myself as the luckiest person alive if I land myself a place with animals as I love them more than anything.
