Hello! I’m currently on undergraduate studies in the United Kingdom, and I want to make the most of my study years to explore the world. I want to explore in a way that’s meaningful and allows me to learn languages, cultures, and pick up new skills. I believe the best travel experiences are when I can give what I have to offer, and learn along the way.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My interests lie in three areas — cultural exchange, animals, and working with children.

I’m a student of anthropology and I love learning local cultures and languages. I like picking up new languages (I can currently speak intermediate Chinese and basic Arabic). I’m open-minded and love trying new food and participating in customs! I’ve lived in Singapore for 18 years of my life (a very small island), so I want to explore the world as much as I can.

I’ve always lived with dogs from when I was young, and animal welfare has been a keen interest of mine. Urban Singapore unfortunately does not have much wildlife and thus with work away, I would love to interact more with animals. I’m a hard worker and willing to learn anything, from cleaning poo to riding horses. I’m an avid hiker as well so my fitness is good in terms of walking long distances.

Lastly, I’ve volunteered with childcares for the past few years and worked as an assistant kindergarten teacher for a year. I love interacting with children and teaching them art, language, or just playing sports with them! I’m very friendly and I love being around people.

In the creative space, I’m passionate about creative writing (I have a blog where I write about my travels), and have been doing photography for the past few years, including picking up skills like graphic design, photo editing and video editing. I’ve interned for social media managing before. I can offer these skills for publicity or fundraising.

As a whole, I’m extremely non-fussy and just love to learn and interact with people. I work hard and learn fast.
