I study two languages (German and English) and have always been interested in languages, how they work, but also how they are used in communication and our wider societal context. I'm from the German speaking part of Switzerland so I speak Swiss German too and learned French in school.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
- I'm currently studying German and English to become a teacher, so I'm very interested in languages and literature and how they connect us. Besides that I also speak Swiss German, some French and have a very basic understanding of Swedish (and also ancient Greek but I doubt that that's relevant in any way ^^).
- I'm a very artistic person. I was in a local theatre company for a long time and always enjoyed telling stories with friends - this continues to this day with me organising and structuring semi-regular Dungeons and Dragons sessions with friends. But I also write and sing and appreciate photography and filmmaking.
- I currently live alone with my two cats; I like to cook (be it for myself or with a friend) and also enjoy doing the housework. Living alone has helped me learn about meal-planning, taking care of my apartment and the cats.
- In my family I'm also the one to go to when IT-problems are around.
- I'm a quick thinker and like to pick up new skills and find solutions.

I would prefer a longer stay because I need it for my English studies. Additionally I would need no work 40% minimum.
I read a lot and music is a constant companion. I grew up on the country but also enjoy studying in the city. Being from a more rural area does mean however, that sometimes the city noise gets too much and I prefer to be back in a calmer area. But I'm ready for a completely new experience and open to make lots of memories. ^^
