Hi, my name is Lona. I'm from France. I am 26 years old. I just finished my bachelors'degree in agronomy, and job which aim was to develop syntropic agriculture in Reunion Island for famrers. It really changed my way of thinking, it was really inspiring and finally I found an agriculture which made sense to me! That's why today, I'm taking 6 months between central and south america to find people who have been developing these agroecosystems for years to bring back as much knowledge as I can back home. I really want to have a sharing on both sides, and to learn about the mexican culture. On a daily basis, I love running, hicking, reading... I look forward to meeting you soon :)

I can teach some English since I spend a year in California in high school to learn the language, then continue to study it for 4 years at university.
Few years ago, I decided to switch my studies and find something more meaningful to me. I worked first in a permaculture farm, and then this year I worked for a company which is developing syntropy around Reunion Island in order to find new ways of producing for farmers.

I spent a very nice week with the family: between attraction parks, high roller, swimming pool, and trying out great food. The kids were very smart alwas willing to try new things all the time. Thank you for this experience :)

Lona has been instrumental to our trip. She drove really well. She and the boys tried out all sorts of rides: Fly LINQ, High Roller, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, Transformers and many more. Lona estuvo unas semanas, tiempo que dedicó muy concentrada en aprender como colaborar mejor. Y lo consiguió muy bien, entendio el sistema comunitario de vida y me ayudo mucho a que todo resultara de la mejoor manera.

I spend a week at the cacao farm. I helped to translate on a tour they were giving. I was lucky enough to arrive just on time when they were harvesting and cutting up the cacao fruit, it was quite an experience, way harder than we can think. I stayed there for 10 days, if you like nature, animals, chocolate, woodworking, and cooking just go for it 😇 I spent a really nice time surrounded by this beautiful family!

Lona was very sweet and helpful to have around. She was willing to tackle any task, from kitchen work to woodworking and chocolate making. She got along well and with our other workawayer. She was easy to host.
