Hello, my name is Liv 🌀
I have a deep love for learning and sharing culture, growing food and community.
I am seeking open-minded and open-hearted communities to connect with and immerse myself in projects in service of our Mother Earth.
My most cherished moments are slow days spent by the ocean or in the forest; running along the beach, swimming in the rivers, walking through the mountains and listening to the birds. I enjoy reading, hiking, practicing yoga and sharing my cooking with friends. I am interested in growing my knowledge of permaculture design, organic and biodynamic farming, earth building, community living, the customs and cultures of the Indigenous peoples whose lands, skies and waters we gather upon and that I am blessed to experience.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a growing knowledge and experience in permaculture, growing and harvesting organic produce. I would be more than happy to help in prepping beds, nursery, weeding, sowing, harvesting, creating organic compost, building fences, tending to plants, caring for farm animals, cooking and preparing meals for everyone.
I appreciate dynamic work outside and love to move my body. I'm eager to learn new skills and trades with exchange work I haven't done before, if people have the patience to teach me...carpentry, earth building etc.
I have taught English to people of varying ages and cultural backgrounds in primary schools and to families in Nepal and Turkey (though it should be noted that I am not an English teacher or have any qualifications in this realm).
I love spending time with children and learning from them!
I practice visual arts and create with intention, I would love to try creating a big colourful mural one day if the opportunity ever presents itself.
I have 10 years of experience working in hospitality and a study background in outdoor leadership (guiding in thru-hiking, mountain biking and canoeing).
