Hi there,
I'm Linn, 18 years old, from Germany. I graduated from high school this year and want to spend a year travelling before going to uni. I love spending time in different countries and getting to know new people and cultures - preferably from a local perspective. That's why I want to use Workaway.
A bit about me: I love listening to music, reading, drawing, sewing and just being creative in general .
I also would describe myself as a very active person. Whether it's cycling, swimming, rock climbing or something else - I like many different sports and love being outdoor!
It's always fun for me to meet new people and I'm also looking forward to taking care of children and in general to taking responsibility. I have a younger sister and I did an internship at a kindergarten. So I have a bit of experience with children. But of course I'm always open to lern new things and adapt to someone's needs.
I also have some experience when it comes to travelling on my own. For example I participated in cultural exchanges to Belgium and Poland. I also spent one month near Stockholm, Sweden this year where I was part of a family and took care of two young girls. This was my first ever Workaway experience and I'm looking forward to collecting many more.
During an Interrail Trip this summer I travelled to Eastern Europe and learned something about countries like Poland, Croatia, Hungary and the Czech Republic.
All in all I would say I'm an open minded person and I'm looking for new experiences and adventures all the time!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have experience when it comes to looking after children and also taking care of different kinds of animals. For example I walk our neighbours dog and I take care of neighbours and friends dogs when they are on holiday.
At home we have three rabbits and I did horse riding for many years. I also helped my grandparents taking care of their ponies. Since I was 6 I spent a few weeks on a farm in Northern Germany nearly every summer. That's why I have some experience taking care of horses, cats, goats and sheep.
At school I participated at the first aid club so I have a lot of knowledge and experience regarding first aid.
I worked at a bakery for six months so I also have experience at customer services, keeping cleanliness and taking responsibility. Right now I am working in a stationary store.
