Hello! My name is Lily and I'm from Massachusetts. I will be graduating college this spring and can't wait to take advantage of my window of freedom before settling down into a long-term job by combining work outside and travel. love exploring new places, immersing myself in new cultures, listening to people's stories, trying new foods, and practicing my Spanish, Russian and Kyrgyz. A few years ago I did a Workaway in Washington State as a farm assistant and absolutely loved it. This past spring and summer, I lived in Kyrgyzstan for study abroad and internships, meeting lots of amazing people and improving my Russian and Kyrgyz language skills.

In my free time I enjoy reading, running, hiking, and swimming. I am independent, open-minded, a hard worker, not afraid to get my hands dirty, and I like to stay busy.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I've taken Spanish classes for ten years, so I can hold a good conversation and have pretty good listening and reading comprehension.
I've volunteered for a program teaching English as a second language to children between six and ten years old, and I've also babysat for a few years, so I have experience working with young kids.
I participated in a service trip last summer where I helped repair some homes by putting up new siding and painting rooms inside, so I have some construction experience, too.
I help my mom with our garden in the summer, have a job weeding for my neighbors, and have helped with simple farm tasks but would love to do more with farm work, especially with animals.

I tend to be an early-bird, prefering to wake up early rather than stay up late. Additionally, staying healthy is important to me, as I am a very active person and I love eating vegetables and other healthy foods, but I also enjoy a good treat!
