Hi, I’m Lilli, 20 years old and from Austria 🇦🇹

I recently moved to Vienna to study at the Vienna University of Business and Economics. While I really enjoy the busy city life, I do miss being surrounded by nature, as I grew up in a small town.

I’m a very active and outdoorsy person. In my free time, I enjoy jogging, hiking, mountain biking, or simply going for a walk to clear my mind. In winter, I love skiing, and throughout the year I play tennis and do resistance training.

At home, I enjoy baking and cooking (especially trying out new recipes) - as well as reading or watching a good series. I also like gardening, journaling, and spending time with my cat.

This is my first Workaway experience, and I’m excited to visit new places, meet local people, and experience different cultures and lifestyles. A friend of mine had a great experience, which inspired me to try it myself.

I’m open-minded, reliable, and curious, and I’m looking forward to contributing, learning, and creating meaningful memories. One of my dreams is to spend an exchange semester in Norway - I visited two summers ago and really loved the nature and calm atmosphere.

• Pet care (I grew up with a cat and happy to learn how to help with other animals)

What I’d like to learn:

• Get to know local cultures and way of living
• Gain experience in working with people and families
• Try new activities and step outside my comfort zone
• Improve my language skills (duolingo is not enough haha), I can help with German in exchange😊
• Learn more about nature, sustainability, and a slower, simpler living
• I recently started crocheting and would love to improve my skills, I’d also be happy to learn knitting
