Experience working with people:
I have worked a few customer service jobs and am competent speaking to people and helping them solve problems. I enjoy learning about people and their experiences.
Experience working outside :
I have been volunteering regularly for over five years, often involving outside work such as conservation.
I really enjoy being outside and do not mind bad weather.
Experience working in a kitchen :
I have experience working in a professional kitchen from doing a stage at a cookery school and having a job at a bakery. I am a vegetarian but I can cook with meat. I really love cooking or just helping out in the kitchen.
Experience doing cleaning work :
I have had to do some level of cleaning at nearly all the jobs I have had .
Experience being on my feet :
I am happy being on my feet for hours at a time, working.
Experience gardening :
I have done work experience working in a garden at a hotel, and have an interest in plant biology.
Experience working with animals :
I have volunteered at a donkey sanctuary for many years and keep chickens at home. I have also volunteered with turtles.
I love animals, especially dogs!!
Experience working with children:
I have worked as a babysitter for children from the age of three to fourteen.

I am also a fast learner and always happy to try something new.

It was lovely to meet Lili. She has led such an interesting life for one so young and it was delightful to chat with her. She was flexible when our plans changed. While we were there she worked hard and when we returned she had obviously worked hard in our absence. Thank you, Lili!

I really enjoyed my stay with Jo! She was super welcoming and generous, helping me out with lifts and providing all my food. I could choose what I wanted to do for work and I didn’t have to do too many hours. Otautau is quite a quiet place but a good spot to relax and take a break from intense travelling.
