Hello everyone! :)

I'm Jelena, but friends and Family call me Lena, 23 years old and I live and study in Germany.
Ever since my first longer travel experience as an exchange student in the US, I have been very keen to dive into as many new cultures as possible. Having spent some time in Argentina and the south of Spain for some time as well, it almost seems surprising to me that I have never visited the United Kingdom, although it's so close to my hometown Hamburg. This must be changed and I would be very happy to have you as part of my journey!

I have a lot of great memories when thinking about the time I've spent with my American and Argentinian host family and I hope to add new memories and learn about cultural differences, new food, music, traditions and the day to day life of a British family. I think one of my best qualities is that I can really immerse myself into new surroundings.

Currently I'm becoming a secondary teacher in English and Social Sciences and I've already taught a lot of students from the age of 8 to 18 in several subjects. Furthermore, I have a little eight year old sister who goes to primary school. Having already been a teenager when she was born, I am quite experienced in taking care of younger children as well.

In the spare time I have, I love to make music (mainly singing and playing the piano), go to concerts, visit new cafes and restaurants, read great books and movies, which I could talk hours about, and of course, enjoy the weather!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I study to become a teacher in English and Social Sciences, where I am currently in between my Bachelor's and Master's degree. Therefore, I'd love to work with children and I'd like to teach them e.g. languages or play games, do arts, go outside and explore the world and listen to the multiple ideas they have in their creative minds!

I can adapt myself quickly to new surroundings and enjoy this process a lot rather than complaining. I am very positive and grateful for everything in life and love to have fun, travel, explore nature and have great, deep conversations. I love to make friends and family in new countries and would try to engage in your family as much as you would like let me to.
I am very tidy and clean, can prepare basic dishes and am in general very very responsible and trustworthy. I respect the opportunity of you workawayes so much to let foreigners in your home that I would never make you regret that with me :)
