Hello, my name is Lea, I’m from Austria and 23 years old. My profile has been paused for a while after having explored Europe in a gap year following my A-levels. Right now, I am studying "economy - ecology - politics" in Vienna and enjoying student life very much, but I have also missed travelling and learning from people all over the world.Which is why I am super excited that I have the opportunity to travel for 2 months this summer again!

Scandinavia is a region I haven't been to yet but have always wanted to explore. I am looking forward to discovering nature, making enriching experiences and learning new skills, and especially connecting with interesting people and spending time working and discussing together. However, I sometimes also need time just for myself, so working alone is no problem for me.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time in nature like hiking, swimming and taking my dog for a walk. I also love to read and sew clothes for myself.

Concise, I’m a positive, creative, adventurous, eco-minded and sometimes overthinking person who can’t wait to meet YOU :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have completed training as cook and waitress and have also gained experience in working in the gastronomy sector during a three-months internship in Switzerland and afterwards occasionally besides school. I have never cooked professionally, but I like to cook at home for my family.

Besides, I have done a lot of babysitting in the last 10 years or so. I have experience in looking after children from two to twelve years.

Since my family has pets (two dogs, one cat and two chicken) and my aunt owns a farm with cattle where I help when I can, I also know how to milk cows, clear out the stables and how to treat animals in general.

I have no particular skills in gardening or carpentry, but I have helped with different tasks at home amd during my previous workaway stays and am eager to learn whatever you can show me and give you a helping hand!

Lea was so great to have at our house. She baked us cookies and bread daily, was always available for sharing, community and participating in everything. She is a real country girl who has experience with cooking, gardening, animals and is just a wonderful person. We love her

They live in a town with a beautiful beach and coastline as well as small mountains within 10-15 minutes walk.
