Hi there Ole,

We are Lars and Sara – a couple who loves nature, wildlife, and working outdoors. Lars is from the Netherlands and Sara is from Sweden.

We met in December 2024 while working the winter season at Sorrisniva, Alta in Norway, and since then we have enjoyed working here and traveling together. We have mostly worked in reception, we both have experience in guiding, booking, and Lars has also been a Guide in Alta.

We have a massive passion for wildlife, culture and the outdoors.

I’m an adventurous and reliable Workawayer with hands-on experience in a variety of outdoor and hospitality tasks. I’ve worked on projects ranging from hostel housekeeping, guest services, and food prep, to construction, maintenance, and land management. I’m comfortable with physical work, including using tools, building structures, clearing areas, and caring for animals.
I love spending time outdoors and enjoy hiking, kayaking, and exploring nature, which makes me a great companion for outdoor excursions or helping guests experience the environment. I’m friendly, adaptable, and enjoy meeting people from all over the world, contributing to a positive and welcoming atmosphere wherever I stay.
Whether it’s practical work, helping with guests, or simply being part of a team, I’m enthusiastic, dependable, and ready to jump in wherever needed.
